Summary
Fushigi Yuugi is about two young school girls, aged 15, who find a ancient Chinese novel called Four God's Earth and Sky. Yui-Chan has the ability to read ancient Chinese and proceeds to read the novel to her friend, Miaka. While reading the novel, they were absorbed into the book to find themselves not in the national library, but back in an ancient land. A turn of events make the two girls bitter enemies later in the series. Throughout the story new characters come in and you will find it very amusing and fun to watch.
